Nina Lopez is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in Political Science with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She generally focuses her research on real world applications of feminist theory. Nina enjoys watching and writing about popular culture, particularly it’s impact on children and gender identity. She spends most of her time researching how media affects the way children see themselves and playing with her two cats.
